Now I can get into celebrating just about anything ... It's Boxing Day. What does this day mean to you?
I've heard this means that most stores drastically reduce prices. It's a holiday for everyone other than retail employees. And me who has to go to work this morning ... Or is it the day you "box" up your clothes that no longer fit you after overindulging at Christmas? Upon a bit of investigation, Boxing Day, as I understand it, is based on the tradition of giving gifts to the less fortunate members of society. So anything I do not need, use or love, I donate to someone who can use it. Now that is a holiday I can support!
